Revealed Heart Ministries is a non-denominational ministry and we serve and love all of God's people regardless of their beliefs, and regardless of their financial status. Revealed Heart Ministries , founded by Dr. Kathryn and David van Rooyen (click for photo), is a multi-faceted restoration, healing and teaching ministry which serves as the umbrella for Watered Gardens Ministry Center, Restoration House, Deborah's Tent (for clergywomen), International Clergy Affiliate Network (I CAN), Fruitful Garden (prayer ministry), Antioch Center for Training Servants (school of ministry), Steps in the Garden Newsletter, and others. Pastors David and Kathryn are anointed and skilled worship ministers, and have an amazing gift of being able to worship together fluidly and with rich harmonies. Revealed Heart Ministries specializes particularly in bringing healing to those who have been spiritually and/or emotionally wounded as well as those who are abused and wounded in other ways. We also specialize in grief and trauma resolution, and offer FREE grief counseling to those in the Appalachian Mountains area of southwestern Virginia. We are especially equipped to minister to leaders and ministers, and are willing to train others in the field of emotional healing and spiritual gifts as well. Kathryn is a sign language interpreter/minister to the deaf, as well. Revealed Heart Ministries provides FREE online booklets on such topics as grief, miscarriage, leadership, and emotional healing (see "Booklets" link on the left). This part of our ministry is ever-growing, as we seek to bring important information and help to those who are hurting. We also provide FREE grief and trauma resolution counseling to those in the depressed Appalachian Mountain region of southwest Virginia and the surrounding areas. This is funded solely through the labor of the van Rooyens and through donations. They believe help should be made available regardless of ability to pay for services, and because they give freely they need help from sources outside the region. Books and Stitches is an online and "in person" store (in the van Rooyen home) that helps to fund the ministry. Kathryn quilts and sews beautiful book covers and other quality items and the funds received for these help to cover expenses of offering services. EVERYONE who is a Christian is called to do the work of the ministry-it is not left to the leaders but to the "lay person!" We believe there is far too much "pew sitting" going on, and our call is to help recognize, motivate, and equip others in their particular calling.
